Ms. Itsuki Natsui

(Itsui Natsuki) Born in 1957 Haiku poet Leader of a haiku poet body Itsuki Group
Member of an editorial board for a haiku newspaper Shiki Shinpo
Awarded the 8th Haidan Sho, or Haidan Prize
She has been conducting haiku classes, named Live Haiku Gathering, at elementary, junior high and senior high schools in many parts of Japan.
And she has been around appearing on TV programs as Tensai Terebikun Wide, or TV Genius Wide, a haiku-study class, on NHK educational channels, and active in various mass media.
Among her books are Sore Ike Mi-ha Ginkou Tai, or Come Along, Haiku Poem Reciting Lowbrow Party and KushuEItsuki-shu, an anthology of her haiku poems.
She was awarded the 5th Nakaniida Grand Prize for Haiku for the following books: Kodomotachiwa Ikanishite Haiku ni Deattaka, or How have children come across haiku?, and Zetsumetsu Sunnzen Kigo Jiten, or Endangered Season Word Dictionary and other books.
